Pravidelný reportér německé fanouškovské stránky U2tour.de vystupující pod jménem "Dirk" sepsal krátké shrnutí tří koncertů U2 v rámci "iNNOCENCE + eXPERIENCE Tour 2018", které měl doposud možnost osobně vidět. Šlo o koncery v San Jose a v Las Vegas. Zajímavě srovnává současné pojetí show s koncerty, které jsme měli možnost vidět v roce 2015. eXPERIENCE + iNNOCENCE Tour 2018 oficálně začalo! Ve 20:30 místního času začala první show v Tulse, která zahrnoval 27 písniček a trvala 145 minut! Ale všechno popořadě! Koncert začal písněmi z nového alba: Love Is All We Have Left, The Blackout následovány Lights Of Home. Během těchto písní měli fanoušci možnost obdivovat vysoké rozlišení obrovské obrazovky, která se různě otevírala a uzavírala. Fanoušci si po celém internetu pochvalují první zážitky těchto koncertních "otvíráků". Po Beautiful Day přišlo první překvapení večera - All Because Of You ! Po tradiční I Will Follow, zahráli U2 zcela nečekaně (a pro ty, co zvukové zkoušky sledují nějaký ten čas, docela očekávaně) The Ocean. Tato píseň ladně přešla do Iris , která stejně jako Cedrawood Road, Song For Someone, Sunday Bloody Sunday, Raised By Wolves a Until The End Of The World přežila přestavbu setlistu z minulého tour. Druhou část uvedla píseň Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me (remix zpívaný Gavinem Fridaye...

Zajímavý a poměrně obsáhlý rozhovor s dlouholetým stage designérem Willie Williamsem přinesl magazín Rolling Stone ( KLIK ). Řeč byla o mnoha věcech - je třeba poděkovat autoru článku Andy Greenemu za velice chytře kladené otázky! Willie promluvil mj. o tomto: potvrdil, že původní myšlenka SOE Tour byla plánována na rok 2016; vysvětlil, že prostor variovat setlist koncert od koncertu je pro skupinu bohužel malý, protože je show "pretty locked down" ; nevyvrátil možnost pokračovat tour i v roce 2019: "I have no idea, but we may as well..." ; přestože půjde na chlup stejný design pódia, bude show ze 75% odlišná od té předchozí z roku 2015; skupina prý zkoušela písničky, které nikdy předtím nehrála na živo; na otázku, zda se U2 v roce 2021 vydají na oslavné tour k 30. výročí vydání alba Achtung Baby odpověděl: "Why not?" ; vrací se i k nehodě kytaristy The Edge, který při prvním koncertu U2 během SOI Tour ve Vancouveru v roce 2015 spadl z pódia a (našetěstí) ...

U2 pilně pokračují ve zkouškách na středeční koncert v oklahomské Tulse. Skupina nezahrála celý set, ale soustředila se na jednotlivé písničky a bloky setlistu.
